Delivery of order

Our goal is to provide the best delivery service in the market, which includes an excellent reputation for on-time delivery. Unfortunately things do not always go to plan and factors, such as weather and traffic conditions, may occasionally prevent us from achieving this.

We will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you provided us for delivery at the time you make your order. It is your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery address details. We will not check or verify addresses and messages supplied by you.

We will do our best to fulfill your order in accordance with the delivery date and time set out in the confirmation email or, if delivery is specified as ASAP, then within a reasonable time from the time the confirmation email was sent taking into account the number of orders and the circumstances being faced by Galos UK at that time.

We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

We only deliver our product within certain distance from our store, see here (link to delivery zones and prices). We do not deliver outside of this area. During the initial ordering process you will be informed if we can deliver to your address or not.

You will become the owner of the products you have ordered when they have been delivered to you or at the point of collection from store. Once products have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss, destruction or deterioration.

Cancellation of order

In accordance with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee you have the right to cancel an order at any time up until either:

  1. in the case of any advance order (which is/are order(s) placed more than 1 day (24 hours) before a requested delivery date), up to 1 day (24 hours) before the order is due to be delivered; or
  2. in the case of same day orders and deliveries, within a reasonable time (usually a matter of 60 minutes or less) and before the order becomes a “Live Order”. This determines the definition of a “Live Order”.

Galos UK will determine a Live Order as any order in which is cancelled after food and services have been used to start preparing the order (a “Live Order“).

Customers can cancel an order by telephoning the Store to cancel the order.

Any order cancelled after the point in which the order becomes a Live Order will be charged to the customer and no refund will be due to the customer.

An order may be subsequently cancelled by Galos UK after you have been presented with the Confirmation Screen. Galos UK reserve the right to cancel any order if:

  1. We have insufficient stock to deliver the products you have ordered. If this is the case, we will contact you to advise of an availability date or to offer you a substitute product;
  2. We do not deliver to your area; or
  3. One or more of the products you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you immediately by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.

If you are a business or corporate purchaser but have not paid by credit card you will be refunded by cheque as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.

You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your order. You will not be charged for cancelled orders made in accordance with these cancellation provisions. This right of cancellation shall not apply to business or corporate purchasers who must have a lawful reason for cancellation.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your order, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.

If you are a business or corporate purchaser and have lawfully cancelled your order but have not paid by credit card you will be refunded by cheque as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.

Galos UK in its sole discretion will determine whether an order is a Live Order or not.

Galos UK we will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
